Riverview Cottage is a spacious, comfortable two-bedroom bungalow nestled in the heart of the charming Northumberland village of Warkworth. Close to local amenities yet wonderfully quiet and peaceful, it offers a cosy, relaxing home-from-home.
Whether you enjoy long countryside walks, catching up with family over a pint or a meal in the local pub, indulging in coffee and cake at the tearooms, kayaking or paddleboarding on the river or at the beach, or simply relaxing in the conservatory with a cuppa or a glass of wine as you watch the world go by — Riverview Cottage is the perfect destination for a short getaway or a longer break.

About the Owners
Hi, we’re Robert and Claire — proud owners of Riverview Cottage. We live in County Durham with our young son and our cheeky black Labrador, Lewis!
We discovered Warkworth during a visit in 2019 and instantly fell in love with its charm, community, and beautiful surroundings. A year later, in October 2020, we were thrilled to make Riverview Cottage our own. Our vision was simple: to create a place where we could escape from the rush of everyday life, spend quality time as a family, and enjoy the outdoors while slowing down and recharging.
Riverview has been a much-loved holiday home for many years, and we feel incredibly fortunate to welcome a loyal group of returning guests who share our appreciation for this special place. At the same time, we love meeting new visitors and helping them discover the magic of Warkworth for the first time. Many of our guests fall for it just as we did — often booking their next stay before they’ve even left!
